Customer Testimonials: Dogwood Eminence

My Dogwood Eminence is great. Love it. Lots of things to like. Neck is great and I really like the organic natural shape of headstock and coordinating bridge. I think they’re artistic and well thought-out. Superb finish! All first-rate and well worth the wait. It is a classy, elegant, and sophisticated musical instrument.  All that aside, it’s the sound that thrills me!

The first thing my ear noticed was the clarity of the low E. Tried it again, still clear, tried the A string -also clear.  I’m so used to muffled sound at low end.  Great consistency of tone across and up the neck.  Appreciate the thought and learning that must be involved with getting guitars to sound like this.  I wonder how acoustic guitar tops will evolve into the future, as more luthiers will have to pay attention to the principles applied here. Thank you!
